E-scooter Rider Injured in Hit-and-Run in Trier Parking Lot

An early morning incident occurred in Trier on Tuesday, 30.09.2025. A traffic accident took place in the parking lot of a local supermarket around 07:15 AM. A scooter rider was injured and required medical treatment.

The accident involved a silver-gray van, believed to be a company vehicle. After a brief exchange with the rider, the van's driver left the scene without offering assistance or exchanging details. The injured rider later reported the incident to the police. The identity of the unknown driver remains undisclosed.

The police are currently investigating the incident. Witnesses are urged to come forward. The injured scooter rider is recovering from their injuries.
