E-Scooter Accident in Bedburg Injures 8-Year-Old Pedestrian
A traffic accident involving a 12-year-old e-scooter rider occurred in Bedburg on Wednesday afternoon (3 September). The boy collided with an 8-year-old pedestrian, resulting in minor injuries. Police attended the scene and documented the incident.
The e-scooter rider, whose name was not disclosed, was thrown back around two metres due to the impact of the collision. The accident took place on the sidewalk of Lindenstraße. Both children's guardians were present when the police arrived. Emergency services treated the injured 8-year-old at the scene. The police filed an accident report and recorded witness statements.
