On the right side of the stage, there are speakers, wires, and other objects placed on the floor. In the background, there is a board with some text on it, metal poles, a wall, and a roof with some ceiling lights. Dwayne 'The Rock' Johnson earns $31M from TKO-WWE despite missing board meetings

WWE veteran and current Hollywood Superstar, Dwayne "The Rock" Johnson, became a part of TKO-WWE's board of directors a few years ago before WrestleMania 42. Despite his important duties as a part of the board, Johnson was the only TKO Board member to not attend at least 75% of their meetings in 2025.

TKO's annual proxy report filed with the SEC recently revealed "The Rock's" 2025 compensation and status for his $30 million worth of stock. The report revealed Johnson earned $900,000 in royalties as part of his agreement. It is expected that his royalties were part of a potentially decade-long merchandising/independent contractor agreement he signed upon joining the Board in Jan. 2024. Johnson has now also fully earned the $30 million in Class A stock that was part of the previously mentioned agreement.

The 53-year-old was also reimbursed $600,000 "for certain travel expenses associated with delivering services under the Johnson Services Agreement." This is expected to be for his appearances at Monday Night RAW's Netflix premiere in Jan. 2025, the following night on NXT, and Elimination Chamber 2025.

"Our Board met five times" and that "each of our incumbent directors attended at least 75% of the meetings of the Board," the report read. "With the exception of Mr. Johnson, who was unable to attend several board meetings due to prior business commitments," it further continued.

The statement also had the 2025 compensation earned by several key TKO figures, such as Nick Khan and Mark Shapiro. Khan received $24.3 million for 2025 based on $2 million of base salary, $11 million in stock awards, and more than $10 million in bonuses. While TKO President Mark Shapiro earned $42.6 million for the year.
