Düsseldorf's princess rejoices in "Jeck em Fuchs" festivities
In the heart of our city, a series of exciting events are scheduled for the upcoming months. Here's a rundown of what you can expect.
Starting off, the much-anticipated "Jeck em Fuchs" event took place in 2025, with more impressions available on Karina Hermsen's photos. If you missed it, tickets for the 2026 edition might still be available for purchase. Mayor Stephan Keller was among the distinguished guests at the brewery session, and the event was hosted by Dirk Kemmer, President of Red-White, dressed in red except for his shoes. The program included speeches, lively music, and performances by a diverse lineup of artists such as Oli the Köbes, Willi, Ernst, Swinging Funfares, Alt Schuss, Prince Andreas I., Venetia, Commander Oliver Fricke, Rabaue, Rhythm Sports Group, and the Robbers.
On a lighter note, a children's carnival is scheduled for February 2, 2025, at 2:30 pm in the Henkelsaal. Tickets and information for this event, along with all other events mentioned, can be found on the provided website.
For those looking to celebrate the spirit of Mardi Gras, the Fe-de-Fe event will take place at the Steigenberger, Ko 1a, on Shrove Tuesday, March 4, 2025, with tickets costing 40 euros. The Altweiber party will also be held at the same location on February 27, 2025, with tickets priced at 33 euros.
For those who appreciate traditional music, the Garde Biwak is set for the market square on February 23, 2025, and is free to attend. For a more formal Red-Whites experience, the costume session is scheduled at the Hilton Hotel on February 1, 2025, with tickets ranging from 20 to 47 euros.
During the Red-Whites events, the audience sang along to the Tollitäten sessions song "Düsseldorf Helau" and a birthday song for Commander Oliver Fricke. Uwe and Melanie Willer, the prince's couple from the previous session, celebrated with their group "Us de Lamaëng" at the event.
Photos from these events can be ordered by sending an email with the photo numbers to media@unserewebsite, and a donation is appreciated. Don't forget to mark your calendars for these exciting events happening in our city!
