Düsseldorf Honor Guard Kicks Off 2024/2025 Session With Live Event

The honor guard of Düsseldorf kicked off session 2024/2025 with a lively event at the Arndt car dealership on Ronsdorfer Street. The evening featured performances by various musical acts, including Max Weyer, the honor guard of Bonn, and Torben Klein, the prince's guard of Erkelenz. The show band Kleefse Töne and a DJ also entertained the crowd. The highlight of the evening was the induction of Johannes Blumenberg as the new senator of the honor guard, marking a new chapter for the group.

Looking ahead to the new session, the honor guard is focusing on ensuring their uniform is in top condition and may also be recruiting new members. President Volker Henkel and Commander Jürgen Kollo welcomed guests, including representatives from local carnival clubs. Despite Hans-Jürgen Tüllmann's absence, having attended Fortuna's event instead, the honor guard celebrated the addition of over a dozen new members, with many being women.

The honor guard's session readiness was celebrated in style, with a variety of performances and the welcoming of new members. As the session 2024/2025 approaches, the honor guard looks forward to maintaining their high standards and potentially growing their ranks.
