Ducks Battle Kraken in Pre-Christmas Division Clash

The Anaheim Ducks will host the Seattle Kraken on December 23, 2025, in a key Pacific Division matchup. The Ducks currently lead the division with a 21-13-2 record, while the Kraken sit at 13-14-6. Fans arriving early will receive a special Nutquacker bobblehead, limited to the first 10,000 attendees.

The Ducks enter the game fresh off a 4-3 victory over the Columbus Blue Jackets on December 22. Pavol Mintyukov scored the decisive goal in the final five minutes, marking the fourth time this season the team has secured a late lead in regulation. This win helped them reclaim the top spot in the Pacific Division.

Joel Quenneville will coach the Ducks for the upcoming clash, while the Kraken’s head coach remains unconfirmed in available sources. The game begins at 7 p.m. PT and will be broadcast live on Victory+ and KCOP-13. The Ducks have shown resilience in close games, with multiple late-period comebacks this season. Their home match against the Kraken follows a strong performance, setting the stage for a competitive divisional showdown.

The December 23 game will test the Ducks’ division lead against a Kraken team looking to climb the standings. Early-arriving fans can collect a Nutquacker bobblehead, adding to the event’s excitement. The outcome could further shape the Pacific Division race as the season progresses.
