Dublin's Theatre Festival, Performances by Dermot Kennedy, Protests for Gaza, and Top Attractions Across Ireland

September is shaping up to be an exciting month for arts and music enthusiasts in Ireland. Here are some not-to-be-missed events happening across the country.

The 68th Dublin Theatre Festival, running from September 25th until October 12th, promises a diverse range of productions. Highlights include Druid's production of Macbeth, starring Marie Mullen and Marty Rea, and Roise Goan, the artistic director of the festival, states that the festival pushes the boundaries of what theatre can be.

For those in Dublin, the Delines will be performing at Whelan's on September 23rd, followed by Cyprus Avenue in Cork on September 24th, and Bank Lane in Waterford on September 25th. Self Esteem, aka Rebecca Lucy Taylor, will take the stage at 3Olympia Theatre in Dublin on September 24th.

In the realm of visual arts, Anna McKeever's first significant solo exhibition, "Full Beam", will be on display at Gormleys Gallery in Dublin from September 25th until October 20th.

Music lovers will be delighted to know that Dave Redmond All in Motion Quartet will be performing at Cooler in Smithfield, Dublin on September 25th, and Scott's Jazz Club in Belfast on September 27th. Dermot Kennedy is also returning to Ireland for a series of "special intimate" gigs, with shows already sold out at the 3Olympia Theatre in Dublin on September 22nd and 23rd, and the Ulster Hall in Belfast on September 21st.

The New Ross Piano Festival, taking place from October 1st-5th, will feature various venues, times, and prices. This year's festival, the 19th edition, will see two Irish debuts: Danae Dörken and Daniel Lebhardt. The festival finale will feature Daniel Lebhardt performing selections by Liszt, along with Collins and the Castalian Quartet performing Dvorak's Piano Quintet.

For comedy enthusiasts, "Stand Up for Gaza", facilitated by Irish Artists for Palestine, will take place at Vicar Street, Dublin on September 20th, featuring some of the biggest names in Irish comedy.

Lastly, Write by the Sea, an annual literary festival, will take place from September 26th until September 28th in Kilmore Quay, Co Wexford.
