Dubai Unveils Pioneering Eco-Drone Delivery Route in Nad Al Sheba
Dubai has unveiled a pioneering eco-friendly drone delivery route in Nad Al Sheba, marking a significant step in expanding directions for contactless delivery networks. The Dubai Roads and Transport Authority (RTA) and Keeta Drone have collaborated on this innovative project, which operates under the Dubai Civil Aviation Authority's (DCAA) regulatory framework.
The new route, inaugurated by His Excellency Mohammed Abdulla Lengawi, Director General of DCAA, enables drones to deliver food orders from local restaurants and cafes directly to residents. This initiative is part of Dubai's commitment to integrating innovation with sustainability, further solidifying its position as a global leader in smart city technologies.
His Excellency Ahmed Darwish Al Muhairi, Director General of the Investment Corporation of Dubai (IACAD), underscored the importance of public-private sector collaboration in driving such projects. Keeta Drone, the company behind the drone delivery service, described the new route as a milestone in expanding eco-friendly, contactless directions networks in Dubai.
The Dubai drone delivery route in Nad Al Sheba is now operational, offering a sustainable and efficient way for residents to receive food orders. This project, a result of collaboration between the RTA, Keeta Drone, and DCAA, reflects Dubai's commitment to embracing futuristic technologies that support a greener, smarter city.
