Dubai Unveils Citywide Extravaganza for Eid in 2025 Under the Hashtag #EidInDubai2025
Dubai is gearing up for a spectacular Eid Al-Fitr celebration, with the unveiling of the #EidInDubai 2025 campaign. The event was announced at a press conference hosted by Brand Dubai, attended by Mona Al Marri, Vice Chairperson and Managing Director of DMC and Director General of the Government of Dubai Media Office.
The press conference was also graced by key public and private sector partners. H.H. Sheikh Ahmed bin Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum, Second Deputy Ruler of Dubai and Chairman of the Dubai Media Council (DMC), was present as the patron of the celebrations.
The festivities will highlight the UAE's rich heritage while offering a vibrant mix of traditional customs and modern entertainment. Dubai's reputation as a premier holiday destination will be reinforced during Eid, with world-class entertainment, sporting events, and exclusive shopping promotions forming a part of the celebrations.
Mona Al Marri, also known as Her Excellency Mona Al Marri, emphasized Dubai's dynamic appeal during the press conference. She noted that the city's skyline will come alive with spectacular fireworks shows at iconic locations like the Burj Khalifa, Dubai Festival City, and The Beach at JBR.
Traditional Eid activities such as visiting relatives and neighbors, sharing festive meals with family and friends, and donating food to the less fortunate will also be part of the celebrations. Children will receive gifts and "Eidiya" (money gifts).
Live concerts and performances featuring both local Emirati artists and international stars, special exhibitions and activities at art galleries, museums, and cultural centers celebrating Eid themes, family-oriented workshops and entertainment organized in parks, malls, and cultural centers, and shopping festivals offering huge seasonal promotions and luxury brand discounts up to 90% will all contribute to creating a vibrant festival atmosphere throughout Dubai.
