Dubai Courts witness the administration of oath to 35 fresh judges by Sheikh Mohammed

The UAE's judiciary was recently emphasized as a vital element in ensuring social stability and national development, as highlighted by Vice President Sheikh Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum during the swearing-in ceremony of 35 new judges at Dubai Courts.

On August 10, 2025, Sheikh Mohammed emphasized that a strong, independent judiciary is essential for upholding justice, protecting citizens' rights, and maintaining societal harmony. He stressed that judges contribute significantly by delivering fair, impartial rulings, reinforcing the rule of law and supporting the country’s overall development goals.

The new judges pledged to uphold these principles, reiterating their commitment to justice and the rule of law. They expressed their gratitude for the opportunity to serve and reflected the UAE leadership’s vision of a transparent, fair judicial system that underpins both social stability and sustainable development.

Senior officials from the Dubai Ruler’s Court and Judicial Council were present, underscoring the judiciary’s prominent role in national governance. Mohammed Ibrahim Al Shaibani, Director General of The Dubai Ruler's Court and Deputy Chairman of the Judicial Council, and Dr. Saif Ghanem Al Suwaidi, Director General of Dubai Courts, were among those in attendance. Dr. Abdullah Saif Al Sabousi, Secretary-General of the Dubai Judicial Council, was also present.

Sheikh Mohammed underscored the importance of protecting citizens' rights through an independent judiciary, stressing the critical importance of an independent judiciary for ensuring social stability. He congratulated the new judges and emphasized that their role supports national development.
