Dubai Basketball Makes History With First EuroLeague Win

Dubai Basketball has made history by securing their first EuroLeague victory. The team, led by Canadian professional Mfiondu Kabengele, defeated Partizan Mozzart Bet 89-76 in a thrilling NBA-style game played at the Coca-Cola Arena.

The game started strongly for Dubai, with Davis Bertans leading the scoring in the first quarter, which ended 28-18 in Dubai's favor. The team maintained this lead throughout the second quarter, ending it 47-40.

The third quarter saw a brief upset when Partizan Mozzart Bet took a one-point lead, 47-48. However, Dubai Basketball rallied, thanks to powerful plays from Kabengele, supported by Dwayne Bacon and Dzanan Musa. They ended the quarter strongly, leading 68-56.

Dubai opened the fourth quarter with a 5-0 run, extending their lead to 73-56. They held onto this lead, securing their historic first EuroLeague win.

Dubai Basketball will now travel to Monaco for their second EuroLeague game of the week. Their next home game is the ABA League opener on October 6, also at the Coca-Cola Arena. The team's strong performance and teamwork, particularly in the third quarter, bodes well for their future EuroLeague campaigns.
