Dry spell to continue across Bangladesh
Most of Bangladesh will see dry weather with partly cloudy skies over the next 24 hours. The forecast, starting from 9:00am on Friday, also includes patches of fog in some areas. Temperatures varied widely across the country on Thursday, with extremes recorded in Tetulia and Feni.
On Thursday, Tetulia experienced the lowest temperature at 9.8 degrees Celsius. Meanwhile, Feni recorded the highest at 31.5 degrees Celsius. These readings highlight the contrast in conditions across the country.
For the next 24 hours, light to moderate fog may appear in the northwestern region during early morning. Elsewhere, light fog could also form. Daytime temperatures are expected to dip slightly in the northwest but stay much the same in other areas. At night, southern Bangladesh may see a small rise in temperatures. Other regions will likely see little change. The overall outlook remains dry, with partly cloudy intervals expected nationwide.
The weather will stay mostly dry, though fog may affect visibility in some northern areas early Friday. Daytime temperatures will shift only slightly, with the northwest cooling a little. Night-time warmth may increase marginally in the south.
