Man stumbles onto train tracks, passes out (45-year-old's lucky escape)

Munich - A man, aged 45 and without a fixed residence, experienced an unforgettable incident on Thursday night!

Last Thursday, this 45-year-old Eritrean stumbled and fell onto the tracks at Munich Central Station's platform 2 exit. Lying there, apparently unable to get up, he rolled into the shelter just beneath the edge of the platform, where he dozed off.

A sharp-eyed S-Bahn train driver spotted the inebriated individual around 2 a.m. and alerted the Federal Police. The intoxicated man was eventually rescued from the track area and handed over to the police station to sober up.

The breathalyzer test registered an alcohol level of 2.78 per mille. The man spent time in police custody to recover before being released.

Munich's local news sources declared that this incident took place on the platform 2 of the station. The S-Bahn train driver discovered the intoxicated individual, who was subsequently assisted by the Federal Police. Despite his drunken state at a breath alcohol level of 2.78 per mille, the authorities pulled him from the tracks to sober up.
