Drunk German tourist rescued after getting trapped in narrow Austrian alley
A 20-year-old German tourist was rescued in Sölden, Austria, after becoming trapped in a narrow gap between two buildings early on Saturday. The man, who was intoxicated at the time, had climbed into the 30-centimetre-wide space before falling inside and getting stuck. The incident happened around 4:30 a.m. several kilometres from the tourist's accommodation. He was wearing only jeans and a T-shirt when he entered the tight crevice. The rescue operation was completed successfully, with the tourist receiving hospital care for his injuries.
