In a shocking turn of events, Jasveen Sangha, infamously known as the "Ketamine Queen," has agreed to plead guilty to federal charges related to supplying the ketamine that led to the death of actor Matthew Perry in October 2023.

Sangha's charges include one count of maintaining a drug-involved premises, three counts of ketamine distribution, and one count of distribution resulting in death or serious bodily injury. Her trial, which was scheduled for September 2025, has been superseded by the guilty plea agreement.

Perry, a star from the popular show "Friends," died unexpectedly in Los Angeles. Ketamine was found in his blood following his death. Other individuals involved, including Perry’s personal assistant, his friend, another doctor, and Dr. Salvador Plasencia, have already pleaded guilty and are awaiting sentencing or cooperating with prosecutors.

Sangha had initially pleaded not guilty and was held in federal custody since her 2024 arrest. The plea deal was announced in mid-August 2025. Sentencing is expected to occur in the coming months, with possible prison terms that could total decades depending on the judge’s decision.

The Los Angeles District Attorney's office will appear in court to determine the sentence for Sangha. Perry had openly spoken about his struggles with addiction in the past, and his death has sent shockwaves through the entertainment industry.

Four individuals (two doctors, an assistant, and a friend of Perry) have also been arrested and have pleaded guilty to supplying Perry with ketamine. The "Ketamine Queen" is reported to have supplied Perry with the drugs that led to his death.

The information about Sangha's involvement in Perry's death was reported by the Daily Mail. Sentences for these individuals are also expected to be handed down in the coming months. Sangha has agreed to plead guilty to five charges in exchange for some charges being dropped.
