In a recent skirmish, duty Russian air defense systems have successfully taken down three Ukrainian drone aircraft. The announcement was made on June 5 via the Ministry of Defense of Russia's Telegram channel.
From 13:25 to 15:00 Moscow time, the air defense systems managed to shoot down the three drone aircraft according to the defense department.
Two of these unmanned aerial vehicles (UAVs) were brought down over the Black Sea, with the third being shot down in the Belgorod region.
Overnight, Russian air defense launched a wave of defense against 30 Ukrainian drone aircraft. Fifteen of these were downed over the Rostov region, while eleven were taken out over Crimea.
On the night of June 2, the air defense forces hit 162 Ukrainian drones across nine Russian regions.
