Driver of a Mustang apprehended following accident in Blue Mountains
Revamped Article:
In the vivid Blue Mountains, a high-speed chase went down on Sunday evening, and it's stirring quite the buzz!
Someone cruising in a black Ford Mustang decided that breakin' the speed limit was the thrill they needed, and that's exactly what they got – a run-in with the law.
At 7 p.m., police were rollin' on Highway 26 near Wards Road, conductin' a radar initiative, when our speedy Mustang friend decided to play the fast and furious game westbound. The cops tried to give 'em a tap on the shoulder, but our adrenaline junkie decided to take off instead.
Fast forward a few hours, and the OPP (Ontario Provincial Police) were responds to a single-vehicle crash, this time involving the very same black Mustang. One of the passengers wound up with a few bumps and bruises but nothing too serious and was taken to the hospital.
The Missisauga missile – a 21-year-old woman – is now findin' herself in hot water, with charges stacked against her. She's accused of fleein' from the peace officer, dangerous operation of a vehicle, drivin' without a license, and speedin' 1-49 kilometers per hour over the posted speed limit.
She'll be makin' her way to the Ontario Court of Justice in Owen Sound on July 10 to deal with the consequences. You can keep up with the latest local happenings by downloadin' our News app or signin' up for email updates.
Just remember, speedin' may seem like a fun thrill, but it can lead to more than just a court date, so buckle up and drive safely!
Unfortunately, there haven't been any local reports related to the high-speed incident with the black Ford Mustang since the initial event, as of June 11, 2025.
