Dresler takes over Seitz's position in the "Motorcycle Division"
Fabian Dresler, a 33-year-old veteran in the motorcycle industry, is set to take over as the Editor-in-Chief of the Motorrad group, a division of Motor Presse Stuttgart (MPS). Dresler, currently the deputy editor-in-chief of tests and technology, will assume his new role in the coming year.
Uwe Seitz, the current Editor-in-Chief of Motorrad, is leaving MPS to become CEO of the motorcycle industry association, Motorrad Deutschland, at his own request. Seitz's departure has been met with praise from Kay Labinsky, CEO of MPS, who described him as a 'distinguished personality and a great journalist'.
Dresler is being hailed as a 'driving force behind the transformation process' of the group by MPS. He will continue the path laid by Seitz and drive forward the strategic cooperation with the motorcycle marketplace 1000PS, a venture that MPS has been majority shareholder of since 2008.
The Motorrad group encompasses a variety of publications, including the magazines Motorrad, PS, Ride, and Motorrad Classic, as well as the used motorcycle exchange 1000PS. With Dresler at the helm, the group is poised to continue its successful journey in the motorcycle industry.
The search results do not provide a direct answer about a new CEO replacing Seitz at Motorrad Deutschland. However, it is worth noting that Markus Flasch is the CEO of BMW Motorrad and Michael Sommer is the head of BMW Motorrad Germany. While these titles do not confirm a change related to the Editor-in-Chief of the magazine Motorrad, they suggest a strong connection between the motorcycle industry and the leadership of the Motorrad group.
Labinsky has also spoken highly of Dresler, calling him a key figure in the group's transformation process. As Dresler steps into his new role, he is expected to bring his expertise and passion for the motorcycle industry to the forefront, ensuring the continued success of the Motorrad group.
