Dresden's upcoming October Festival of Pichmännel is set to commence

The much-anticipated Pichmannel Oktoberfest is set to return to Dresden's Rinne, opening its gates on Thursday, September 21, 2023, and running until October 7. This 14-day celebration promises a festive atmosphere filled with traditional German beer, food, music, and fun.

Organisers expect around 50,000 visitors to attend the event, which will take place on grounds designed to accommodate such a large crowd. The festival's popularity is evident in its record-breaking ticket sales this year.

Authentic Oktoberfest experience awaits visitors, with traditional German attire such as dirndls and lederhosen encouraged. The event will feature live performances by renowned bands, including Trenkwalder, Grabenland Buam, Stoapfälzer Spitzbuam, Mountain Crew, and Die Zipfelbuben, as well as DJs to keep the party going.

One unique feature of the Pichmannel Oktoberfest is the opportunity for fans to get a beer-themed tattoo. With options ranging from the "Feldschlösschen" lettering, the classic beer logo, or the Pichmannel logo, attendees can commemorate their Oktoberfest experience in a permanent way. A wet washcloth and the Feldi one-time tattoo are required for the tattoo application.

Frank Haase, Marketing Director at the Feldschlösschen Brewery, has stated that the Pichmannel Oktoberfest is a highlight every year. While there seems to be no widely known event called the "Pichmannel Oktoberfest" in Dresden, Germany, based on available information up to mid-2025, Dresden does host Oktoberfest celebrations inspired by the famous Bavarian Oktoberfest in Munich. These events usually celebrate Bavarian culture and attract both locals and tourists.

A few remaining tickets for the Pichmannel Oktoberfest can be purchased via the website www.pichmaennel-oktoberfest.de. Don't miss out on this year's exciting event!

Expanding your Oktoberfest experience, engage in lively conversations and share moments on social media using the event's official hashtag #PichmannelOktoberfest. Entertainment throughout the festival includes live music performances by Trenkwalder, Grabenland Buam, Stoapfälzer Spitzbuam, Mountain Crew, and Die Zipfelbuben, as well as DJ sets to keep the party going.
