Hit the Town with Saxon State Orchestra Dresden on Casual Tour '25!
Get ready to groove, Neustadt! On June 17, 2025, the stylish Saxon State Orchestra Dresden is shaking things up, ditching the formal attire for a casual vibe. This exciting event, titled "Casual Tour," will see the orchestra performing in the laid-back yet lively bars and pubs of Neustadt.
Ever since 2016, these virtuosos have been winning hearts with their chamber music setup, delivering captivating performances in a relaxed atmosphere. Best part? Admission is on the house! Prepare to sway to a medley of tunes from different eras and styles. Performances kick off at 7:00 PM and 7:30 PM, with repeats every hour, allowing party-goers to switch venues and experience multiple performances.
Who's hitting the stage? Expect a cello quartet, a fagott quintet, a percussion duo, various string and wind groups, and a special guest appearance by mezzo-soprano Stephanie Atanasov at "Grubers Welt" bar.
So, where can you catch these musical maestros? The performance area stretches from the "Groove Station" in the north to "Bottoms up" in the south, from "Lila Soße" in the east to "Katy's Garage" in the west. To reach your favorite venue, it's all about a great walk-a-day!
