Dresden's Gorniak Hunts Murderer Despite Alibi and Disappearance
Dresden's commissioner Karin Gorniak faces a challenging case status. She's the only witness to a murder and must now identify the culprit. However, the suspect, later revealed as Dr. Christian Mertens, has an alibi. Gorniak's colleague, Leonie Winkler, steps in to help, but the investigation takes a dangerous turn.
Gorniak initially believes Mertens is the murderer. However, his wife provides him with an alibi, complicating my case. Gorniak and Winkler work together, narrowing down the suspects to Mertens and nurse Bernd Haimann. Before interrogation, Haimann disappears, further muddying the waters.
Gorniak starts to doubt her own judgment, losing her chief's support. Meanwhile, she's severely injured in a dangerous operation, leaving Winkler to continue the investigation. The second main suspect's name remains unknown to the public.
Despite her injuries, Gorniak's testimony remains crucial in identifying the murderer. With Winkler's help, the investigation continues, focusing on Mertens and the mysterious disappearance of Haimann. The case's outcome remains uncertain, but Gorniak's determination to bring the culprit to justice persists.
