Dresden Sports Club Bolsters Volleyball Squad with Dutch Star Rosa Entius

Reinforcement for Dresden's Cup Winner as Rosan Entius Joins the Ranks - Dresden, victorious cup holder, returns with Rosa Entius.

Get ready, Dresden Volleyball fans, as your favorite team is shaking things up! The Dresden Sports Club has bolstered their roster by signing an impressive new addition—21-year-old Dutch outside hitter, Rosa Entius. Ripped from the clutches of league rival USC Münster, Entius has signed a one-year contract to join the Elbeteam.

This isn't just any ordinary recruit; Rosa Entius is a former junior national team player and will be taking up a crucial position on the outside hitter line. Joining the ranks alongside her fellow newcomers, Jette Kuipers (Netherlands), Emma Grome (USA), and Jacqui Armer (USA), Entius is set to make a significant impact.

Alexander Waibl, DSC coach, had this to say about the latest acquisition, "Rosa is a young and exciting player that we have been keeping an eye on. She will add immense value to our team at the outside hitter position. I'm thrilled to start working with her and watch her develop during next season's training."

With the 1.93m-tall athlete hailing from Warmenhuizen and boasting a successful career at VV Dinto, Entius has also played for the Dutch first division team Friso Sneek from 2021 to 2024, in which she clinched two championships and a Supercup. Making her Bundesliga debut last season, Rosa Entius will now face her former teammates in the Dresden jersey after a stint with USC Münster.

As she sets her sights on advancing her career alongside top scorer Marta Levinska, Entius is expected to bring her exceptional skills and determined spirit to the DSC's Volleyball-Bundesliga campaign.
