Dream Theater Unveils New Live Album for 40th Anniversary Celebration

Renowned progressive metal band Dream Theater has announced the release of their new live album titled Quarantième: Live à Paris. The album is set to drop on November 28 and will be available in various formats, including limited deluxe 3CD+3Blu-ray artbook, special edition 3CD+2Blu-ray digipak, limited deluxe 180g 4LP boxset, and digitally.

The live album captures Dream Theater on their 40th anniversary tour at the Adidas Arena in Paris, France. It was recorded during the band's first run of live dates since drummer Mike Portnoy had returned to the line-up.

The three CDs and two Blu-rays of Quarantième: Live à Paris feature a diverse setlist that spans almost the band's entire career. CD1 includes tracks such as "Metropolis Pt. 12. Overture 1928", "Strange Déjà Vu", and "Hollow Years". CD2 offers tracks like "Orchestral Overture", "Under A Glass Moon", and "This Is The Life". CD3 has tracks "Home" and "The Spirit Carries On".

The Blu-ray of the album includes the full show with Dolby Atmos, 5.1 Surround Sound, & high-resolution stereo audio. The Blu-ray 2 includes the same track list as CD2, plus "Pull Me Under". The Blu-ray 1 includes the same track list as CD1.

The live album supports Dream Theater's sixteenth studio album, Parasomnia, which was released earlier this year. Dream Theater are currently continuing their An Evening With Dream Theater tour throughout the US.

Quarantième: Live à Paris is now available for pre-order. The album will be released through InsideOut Music/Sony Music. Dream Theater have also shared a new live video for Overture 1928/Strange Déjà Vu to give fans a taste of what to expect from the upcoming live album.
