Donots to Headline Lower Saxony Day in Osnabrück After Mando Diao Cancellation

Mando Diao, a Swedish rock band, has cancelled their headline performance at the Lower Saxony Day in Osnabrück, Germany, due to "personal reasons". The Westphalian band Donots, from Ibbenbüren, Germany, has been announced as their replacement.

Donots, one of Germany's most renowned punk bands, will take the stage on Saturday evening, August 30, at 9:30 PM. They are known for hits such as "So Long", "Stop The Clocks", and "Augen sehen".

The Lower Saxony Day, the 38th Landesfest, is taking place in Osnabrück from August 29 to 31. Riku Rajamaa, the lead guitarist of the Finnish rock band Sunrise Avenue, is also part of the stage program for the event.

Mando Diao was originally scheduled to headline the Lower Saxony Day but has cancelled all concerts until the end of the year. The band was currently on a European tour that included stops in Germany.

In a statement, Mando Diao apologised to their fans for the cancellations. The Lower Saxony Day's other program points remain unchanged, according to a spokesperson for Marketing Osnabrück GmbH.

The Lower Saxony Day is a popular annual event in Osnabrück, attracting visitors from across Germany and beyond. The event showcases the region's culture, food, and music, making it a must-visit for anyone interested in exploring Lower Saxony.

Despite the change in headliner, fans are still eagerly anticipating the Lower Saxony Day. Donots' energetic punk sound is sure to be a hit with the crowd, providing a memorable end to the weekend's festivities.
