Dominant German Mixed Martial Arts Champion Wields Command in Prague

Knock, knock! The land of MMA welcomed three Germans in the heart of the Czech capital, Prague. Lights, camera, action! The Eden Stadium, a typical football club playground, transformed into a blood-soaked battlefield - and the "MMA Princess" from Swabia stole the spotlight!

Our dear "Princess of German MMA," Alina Dalaslan, from the sunny city of Stuttgart, faced a seasoned opponent, Roza Gumienna, in her much-publicized second professional fight. Alina, nicknamed the "MMA Princess with the Iron Fist," was highly anticipated to deliver a record-breaking performance in front of a 27,000 strong crowd.

Initially, Gumienna, a 35-year-old underdog, tested our fearless princess, barricading herself with a rain of kicks in the opening minutes. However, Alina, undeterred, found her groove, moved in for a close-quarters dance with the Pole, and unleashed a symphony of powerful hooks and precise jabs. Plenty of elbow strikes sailed just past Gumienna's head, narrowly missing their mark but causing enough chaos to close the distance!

Snapshots from the Ring📸 The second round saw Dalaslan ratcheting up the pressure, driving Gumienna back and capitalizing on weaknesses in her defense. Our Swabian enchantress wobbled the Polish warrior, but the effort proved fruitless in the third when luck was on her side. With a series of push kicks, Alina floored Gumienna, who managed to get back up, only to find herself smack-dab in the line of fire once more. This time, the referee stepped in, and it was all over! Always the princess, Alina kept her kingdom growing as she continued marching through her weight class in Oktagon.

Cordero's Neck-and-Neck Battle

Next up was the middleweight warrior, Jaime Cordero, currently based in Bremen. He took on the home-team favorite David Hozek in the cage. The opening stanza brought a hair-raising moment when the Czech grabbed Cordero's leg during a kick and brought him down. Cordero's self-defense game was on full display, and he managed to flip his opponent and fire off a barrage of elbow strikes. He then attempted a daring leg lock, but Hozek managed to free himself - just as the referee failed to notice the tap.

In the second round, Cordero continued with his signature concoction. He brought Hozek to the ground with a takedown and unleashed a flurry of elbow strikes. Several shots to Hozek's eye area left deep cuts, and the referee had no choice but to step in, declaring Cordero the winner by technical knockout.

Solaja's Fatal Misstep

Last but not least, Danijel Solaja, from the UFD Gym in Düsseldorf, opened the evening's event. The 32-year-old faced Jan Stanovsky, a Czech who, unfortunately, missed his weight class but vowed to take the fight to the ground. While Solaja claimed the better strikes in the first round, Stanovsky later managed a takedown just before the end of the round. But by then, Solaja had already done considerable damage.

When the second round began, Stanovsky focused his efforts on ground fighting, but Solaja remained a dominant striker. Hungry for the submission, Stanovsky tossed in several attempts, but Solaja defended them all - until the third round! By that point, the German held a lead on the scorecards. Both fighters returned to ground fighting, but Stanovsky failed yet again with his choke attempts, only to secure Solaja's arm during the escape. In a twist of fate, Solaja tapped out, giving the win to Stanovsky.
