Popular emojis such as hearts, smiles, and eggplants frequently feature in the comment sections of Germany's most prominent social media personalities.

In the bustling world of Instagram, the DACH region (Germany, Austria, Switzerland) stands out for its unique approach to communication. A recent analysis of over 8.45 million comments under posts from around 120 German-speaking Instagrammers has shed light on the most common emojis used and the top Instagram personalities in the community.

The findings suggest that German social media users prefer a balanced and respectful tone in their communication, opting for a small number of emojis (often 1 or 2) to maintain clarity and professionalism while still showing warmth and relatability. The heart emoji (❤️), universally popular for expressing appreciation or love, is likely the most preferred choice in the German-speaking audience.

However, the analysis did not provide specific data on the most common emojis used under posts of prominent German-speaking Instagrammers or which celebrity in the region receives the most hearts. In general, high-profile influencers or celebrities with a massive following would likely top the list, but identifying the exact individual requires access to Instagram analytics or third-party social media ranking data.

Among the Instagrammers analyzed, Young YouTuber Mavie Novelle received the most hearts (38,710), followed closely by Singer Mike Singer with 30,300 hearts. Other popular figures include Katja Krasavice, who received the most kisses among the women analyzed, and Pop titan, who had the most use of laughing-crying smileys.

The analysis also revealed that the fire emoji ranks third among the most used emojis, with 248,500 comments. The peach and aubergine emojis are popular on Instagram, often used as placeholders for sexual innuendos. Interestingly, many fans show their support for Instagrammers by applauding them, as revealed in the data, and former German national team player Toni Kroos received 28,700 hearts.

In addition, the analysis found that emojis are also welcome in online games, with Slot machine Slotomoji being a popular choice. Other popular emojis can be found in the provided table, including the red heart (371,000 mentions) and the smiley with heart eyes (250,700 mentions).

As the number of active Instagram users continues to grow (over a billion as of 2018), understanding the nuances of communication on the platform is becoming increasingly important. For those seeking detailed and up-to-date emoji usage analytics or top Instagram influencer metrics in the DACH region, consulting specialized social media analytics platforms or Instagram insights tools would be necessary.
