Dolphins' Quarterback Tua Tagovailoa Praises Josh Allen, Leaves Miami Fans Uncomfortable

The Miami Dolphins, led by quarterback Tua Tagovailoa, are off to a rocky start in the 2025 NFL season, currently sitting at 0-2 after losses to the Indianapolis Colts and the New England Patriots. Tagovailoa's deep ball accuracy has been a concern, with the quarterback missing open reads with alarming regularity, resulting in costly turnovers and leaving Dolphins fans feeling disheartened ahead of the game against the Buffalo Bills.

The Bills, led by reigning NFL MVP Josh Allen, are currently 2-0 and reigning high. Tagovailoa has admitted that Allen is way better than him, specifically in running the ball and throwing the ball downfield. This sentiment is shared by Rob Gronkowski, who believes Tagovailoa's confidence is shot.

Through two games this season, Allen has thrown for 542 yards, two touchdowns, zero interceptions, and has a QBR of 81.3. On the other hand, Tagovailoa's QBR of 22.3 ranks 31st in the league, having thrown for 429 yards, three touchdowns, and three interceptions.

Xavien Howard, a key defensive player for the Dolphins, expressed concern about Tagovailoa's performance after Week 1. Stephen A. Smith, a prominent sports analyst, thinks the Miami Dolphins front office would be upset with Tagovailoa's comments heaping praise on Allen.

Despite the large spread, the Bills are currently 12.5-point favourites for the upcoming matchup. Coach Mike McDaniel, who is the current NFL coach of Tagovailoa, will be hoping to turn things around for the Dolphins. The question remains whether Tagovailoa can find his form and lead the team to victory against the Buffalo Bills.
