Doja Cat to Perform at LACMA's Art+Film Gala, Kicks Off International Tour
The Los Angeles County Museum of Art (LACMA) has announced that Doja Cat will be the musical guest at its prestigious Art+Film Gala on November 1. Following the event, the singer will embark on an international tour starting in Auckland, New Zealand on November 18.
The Art+Film Gala is one of LACMA's primary fundraising events, having raised $6.4 million in 2024. This year, the gala will honor visual artist Mary Corse, a significant figure from the postwar era and a key player in the Light and Space movement, and filmmaker Ryan Coogler, known for his work on 'Sinner' (2025) and 'Black Panther' (2018).
Doja Cat, who rose to fame with her 2018 viral hit 'Mooo!', will entertain guests at the gala. Her latest album, 'Vie', was released last month. The singer has previously won a Grammy for Best Pop Duo/Group Performance for her song 'Kiss Me More', featuring SZA, from her 2021 album 'Planet Her'.
Following the Art+Film Gala, Doja Cat will kick off her international tour in Auckland, New Zealand on November 18. The gala, which honors Mary Corse and Ryan Coogler, is expected to raise substantial funds for LACMA, contributing to its ongoing artistic and educational programs.
