In the small town of Rain, located in Bavaria's Donau-Ries district, a thrilling shoplifting incident took place. On a chilly Monday evening, a 51-year-old woman managed to make off with a shopping cart filled with quite an eclectic selection of items: dog food, plants, and socks, all adding up to a whopping 1,300 euros.
Baffled employees of the store in Swabia noticed the unusual items disappearing from their shelves and quickly intervened as she was attempting to load her ill-gotten gains into her car. The woman, realizing the jig was up, confessed to her crime.
