The Democratic National Committee (DNC) is conducting an 'after-action review' of the 2024 election, as reported by Fox News Digital. This review, however, is not expected to be a comprehensive analysis of the DNC's role in the election or a finger-pointing exercise. Instead, it is aimed at unifying Democrats and adopting a playbook to win future elections.

According to DNC spokesperson Rosemary Boeglin, Democrats need to make structural changes in how they run campaigns. The review will focus on outside groups and super PACs, specifically their spending on advertising and voter turnout efforts.

The review will not analyze key strategic decisions, such as the selection of Vice President Kamala Harris as a presidential candidate or campaign decisions made by her team, like repeatedly referring to her opponent as a fascist. Similarly, the DNC's post-election review is not expected to look at any strategic decisions made by the campaign, such as whether then-President Joe Biden should have stayed in the race or dropped out sooner.

The preparation of the post-election analysis for the 2024 election of the Democratic National Committee remains a mystery, with no information available on who proposed it. The review process was first launched in March and is currently under review by Democratic operative Paul Rivera, who has conducted over 200 interviews with officials from all 50 states.

The DNC has been under controversy recently, with multiple resignations and party infighting. Last month, the American Federation of Teachers (AFT) chief Randi Weingarten and Lee Saunders, President of the American Federation of State, County and Municipal Employees, resigned from their positions, citing a problem with party leadership.
