Southern heartthrob Dhanush and his ex-wife Aishwaryaa Rajinikanth attended their elder son Yathra's school graduation after a prolonged absence. The pictures from the ceremony, shared by Dhanush on his Instagram, show the former couple embracing and congratulating their firstborn on this significant achievement in his life.
Dhanush sports a crew cut and a pairing of a white shirt and black trousers, while Aishwaryaa opts for an off-white dress for the occasion. The 'Raanjhanaa' actor captioned the post, "Proud Parents #yathra", accompanied by two heart emojis. After 18 years of marriage, Dhanush and Aishwaryaa filed for divorce on January 17, 2022.
However, the couple had shared a joint statement in 2022, indicating their intentions to part ways amicably and respecting each other's privacy during the separation process. Their divorce was officially finalized on November 27, 2024.
Regarding his professional commitments, Dhanush will soon be seen in the much-anticipated drama Kuberaa, directed by Sekhar Kammula. The film, produced by Suniel Narang and Puskur Rammohan Rao of Amigos Creations, also features Nagarjuna, Rashmika Mandanna, Jim Sarbh, and Dalip Tahil in significant roles. Apart from Kuberaa, Dhanush is also set to star in the biopic on India's beloved President, Dr. APJ Abdul Kalam, titled Kalam.
