Divorce ahead on Coronation Street: Abi Webster and Kevin call it quits

In tonight's episode of Coronation Street, several characters find themselves in intriguing situations.

Abi Webster (played by Sally Carman) announced her intention to end her marriage to Kevin (Michael Le Vell). The decision comes after Abi has been leading a double life and feeling the strain of deceit. She plans to meet with someone at 8 AM on Thursday, September 24, following her departure from Kevin.

Meanwhile, Abi's mother, Abi Franklin (played by Sally Ann Matthews), has been expressing unease about the future of her marriage to Kevin. Her concerns remain unresolved, as Kevin receives a clean bill of health during a cancer check at the hospital.

Elsewhere, Theo (played by Cormac Rigby) overhears a conversation between Todd (Gareth Pierce) and Maria (Samia Longchambon). This revelation causes Theo's facial expression to darken, and he departs the scene, upset and hurrying away. Todd, unaware of Theo's presence, continues his conversation.

Theo's confusion deepens when he encounters Todd later, discussing the news about Noah. Todd, however, remains oblivious to Theo's turmoil.

In a separate development, Asha (Tisha Merry) and Naomi (Chelsee Healey) have a heated confrontation. Asha reminds Naomi of a past incident where Naomi abused and spat upon her. Naomi denies the allegations and warns Asha against making unfounded accusations.

Amidst the tension, Dev (Jimmi Harkishin) persuades Asha to have lunch with him at a hotel. However, Asha is shaken when she encounters Naomi there.

Fiz (Jenny Platt) expresses strain with Tyrone (Alan Halsall) being in the hospital, and Kevin suggests to Abi that they should spend their retirement doing up old cars together.

In a surprising turn of events, Becky (Katherine Kelly) calls Carla (Alison King), and Carla suggests it would be best for everyone if she pretends to be dead again.

Tune in to Coronation Street, airing on Wednesday, 24th September at 8pm, to follow these captivating storylines as they unfold. The soap opera continues on Friday, 26th September at 8pm.
