District Regensburg's 16th registration stay ongoing
The 16th Regensburg County Run is gearing up for an exciting season, and participants are invited to prepare for the event through a series of training runs. Here's what you need to know about the training runs, registration, and fees for the 16th Regensburg County Run.
Registration for the event is ongoing, with the entry fee set at 85 Euro until the end of August. For the youth divisions, the fee remains at 59 Euro throughout the registration period, with no increase in price. Female ultra-runners can participate for 59 Euro, while male ultra-runners will pay 85 Euro.
Training runs for stages 1 to 4 have already taken place, and the schedule for the remaining stages is as follows:
- August 5: The training run for stage 5 (Brunn to Waldetzenberg) starts at 6 PM.
- August 12: A training run for stage 6 (Waldetzenberg to Hohenschambach) is scheduled for the same time.
- August 19: Participants can join a training run for stage 7 (Hohenschambach to Kollersried).
- August 26: The training run for stage 8 (Kollersried to Tiefenhüll) is scheduled for the same day.
- September 9: The training run for stage 9 (Tiefenhüll to Mausheim) will take place.
Each training run offers two free shuttle buses back to the starting point, making it easier for participants to join and return. Last-minute participants can join training runs at the starting point.
Course planner Daniel Wedekind invites participants to the training runs every Tuesday at 6 PM. Additionally, participants can test running shoes for free during training runs.
