Victories Throughout Vienna's Districts in the Election
District-Level Parliament Elections Held Successfully
It's all over! The recent election in Vienna has seen some unexpected twists and turns, especially in the various districts. The SPO swept the municipal council election, ruling supreme in each of the 23 districts.
But it's not just the SPO that made waves—the Greens emerged victorious in three districts, claiming Neubau, Josefstadt, and Währing. This shows a strong support for the eco-party in these areas.
Surprisingly, despite making considerable gains across all districts, the FPO failed to turn a single district blue. Despite their efforts in Simmering and Favoriten, they couldn't manage to snatch the top spot in either.
As for the OVP, they'll continue to hold the district chairman in three districts: Doebling, Hietzing, and the Innere Stadt, though they've suffered some losses.
