In a unique turn of events, a woman named Riddhi Patel caused a stir in the bustling city of Vadodara, when she took a stand against a local golgappa vendor. The incident, which occurred on a busy road, has since gone viral on social media, attracting a mix of support, humour, and intrigue from netizens across the country.

The drama unfolded when Riddhi, who had paid ₹20 for a serving of six golgappas, found herself short-changed with four instead. Unwilling to let this oversight go unnoticed, Riddhi demanded two more golgappas from the vendor. Some passersby, captivated by the scene, took out their phones to document the stand-off.

The woman's assertive approach struck a chord with some, who found her complaining style endearing. Others took to social media to support her cause, expressing solidarity with Riddhi's quest for justice. One user even humorously remarked that civil disobedience had become the only option when the math of pani puri didn't add up.

The online support for Riddhi was not limited to light-hearted comments. One user suggested she should be declared a 'Pani Puri' Freedom Fighter and given a pension of ₹15k per month. Another compared her protest to a six-piece serving of pani puri and an iPhone 17, highlighting the importance of every piece (or in this case, every golgappa).

However, not everyone was as supportive. Some users speculated that Riddhi might have been already depressed or unhappy, questioning the validity of her protest. One user jokingly declared they stand with the woman and want justice, while another suggested the upper bench of the Supreme Court should take immediate cognizance of this matter.

As the incident gained traction, opinions flew thick and fast. One user poignantly compared the absence of happiness in life to taking away the only thing that brings it, referring to the golgappas in this case. The viral video shows Riddhi standing firm, blocking traffic on the busy road, as the vendor tries to reason with her.

Despite the attention, it remains unclear whether the woman received the two additional golgappas she demanded. Regardless, the incident has sparked a conversation about consumer rights and the power of social media, with many finding humour and inspiration in Riddhi's bold stand.
