- Cuss words, yo!
Nationwide work stoppages trigger partial service interruptions - Disruptions Partly Attributable to Nationwide Work Stoppage
Listen up: If ya got a date at the ol' office or kids in daycare age, ya better be prepared for a bit of a snag today across certain regions. Union Verdi has lit the fuse for a full-day job action in a selection of Thuringian townships and amenities.
Some city daycares are shut down cold, and a few urban areas are looking at reschedulin' appointments. In some places, garbage may not get scooped up. But don't sweat it too much; various municipalities reckon the disruption should be minimal.
A mass protest's planned for Erfurt.
This protestin' union's been sending out the call for shutdowns in places like Erfurt, Jena, Weimar, Gera, and Gotha, as well as a bunch of district offices, banks, Thuringian Water Supply, and Thuringia's German Pension Insurance locations. The union's expectin' around 600 to 700 strikers at the Erfurt rally.
These union jerks is askin' for an 8% wage boost, or at least an extra €350 a month, along with more unpaid days in the public service contract negotiations. The bosses ain't budgin', deeming these demands way outta bounds. The third round of discussin' goes down from March 14th - 16th.

- In light of the community policy, parents and those with appointments might want to reconsider their plans due to the disruption caused by the job action led by Trade Union United Services in Erfurt, Jena, Weimar, Gera, Gotha, and several district offices, banks, Thuringian Water Supply, and Thuringia's German Pension Insurance locations.
- The vocational training centers across Thuringia might experience a disruption as many employees are joining the mass protest in Erfurt amidst the ongoing wage negotiation conflict in the public service industry.
- If the wage negotiation between the union and the bosses does not reach an agreement during the third round of discussions on March 14th – 16th, further stoppages and job actions could potentially be on the table, possibly affecting vocational training centers, public services, and even daycares in Erfurt and other Thuringian townships.
