With the KEF proposing an increase in the broadcasting fee from €18.36 to €18.94, Kretschmann maintained that the actual impact on households could be questioned. He recommended paying close attention to how broadcasters manage their funds and importantly urged all parties to consider the Federal Constitutional Court rulings on broadcasting independence. "Ignoring the court's guidelines could prove detrimental in the long run," Kretschmann cautioned.
