Get ready, Disney fans! A new series is coming to Disney+ this fall, and it's going to be a bloom you won't want to miss. "Electric Bloom" follows a pop group consisting of Carmen Sanchez, Lumi Pollack, and Ruby Marino.

The series features a talented cast, with guest directors including Disney alum Danielle Fishel and Phil Lewis. Tia Carrere, known for her role as Nani in "Lilo & Stitch," is also set to appear in the first season, although her involvement in the "Descendants" films is unclear.

The pop group's lead songwriter is portrayed by Carmen Sanchez, who brings elements of her Cuban heritage into the series. Sanchez has also incorporated Spanish words into her character's dialogue and even wears a Cuban necklace with a Cuban flag in an emotional episode.

Sanchez's character, Jade, is described as being very tough, but also very supportive of her bandmates. Interestingly, Jade's character is said to be based, in part, on Diane Warren when she was younger.

Lumi Pollack plays the studious and organized Posey, while Ruby Marino's character, Tulip, is energetic, positive, and quirky. Jade's character is very close to her bandmates, and their camaraderie is a central theme of the series.

The first 13 episodes of "Electric Bloom" will begin streaming on September 17 on Disney+. The series also includes tracks from award-winning songwriter Diane Warren, adding to the musical excitement of the show.

In addition to the music and drama, fans can expect to see some familiar faces. "Lilo & Stitch" star Maia Kealoha and "Descendants" star Dara Reneé appear in the first season of "Electric Bloom."

With its talented cast, catchy music, and heartfelt storylines, "Electric Bloom" is sure to be a hit with Disney fans of all ages. So mark your calendars and get ready to stream the series when it premieres this fall!
