Discussion ongoing between Tottenham Hotspur and Paris Saint-Germain's forward, potentially putting Dominic Solanke's tenure at Tottenham at risk, according to a recent report
Tottenham Hotspur Eyeing Potential Signing of Kolo Muani
Tottenham Hotspur are reportedly considering a move for French forward Randal Kolo Muani, who is currently in a transfer limbo between Juventus and Paris Saint-Germain (PSG).
The north London club, fresh off the appointment of Thomas Frank as their new manager, have shown renewed interest in Kolo Muani as negotiations between Juventus and PSG over a permanent transfer fee have stalled. According to reports, PSG is demanding a minimum fee of around €55 million (£48m/$64m), but Juventus is unwilling to pay that amount, preferring an initial fee closer to €15 million (£13m/$17m).
Kolo Muani, a 26-year-old striker, developed at Nantes before moving to Eintracht Frankfurt and recently played on loan for Juventus in Serie A, where he scored 10 goals and provided two assists in 19 appearances. His impressive performances have caught the eye of Tottenham, who are now testing the water to see if Kolo Muani is interested in a move to the Premier League.
If the transfer materialises, Kolo Muani could challenge Dominic Solanke for a place in the Spurs team. Solanke joined Tottenham from Bournemouth last summer for a record fee of £55 million plus £10m in add-ons, a deal that ranks among the top 100 most expensive transfers of all time.
Thomas Frank is putting his stamp on the Tottenham Hotspur team, and Kolo Muani's attacking style could potentially see him play in a front two alongside Solanke, as was the case with Bryan Mbeumo at Brentford. The formation that Frank used at Brentford for big games was a 3-5-2.
Meanwhile, Mohammed Kudus has been signed by Tottenham, suggesting a new attacking impetus for the club. The deal for Kolo Muani, if it goes through, would further strengthen Tottenham's attacking line, following their Europa League triumph last season, which ended a 17-year wait for silverware.
As for Kylian Mbappe, who has been on loan at Juventus, the Italian club is struggling to afford the €50m needed to sign him permanently after his loan spell last term. Mbappe's current team is Juventus, but his future remains uncertain.
Randal Kolo Muani is valued at €30m by Transfermarkt, making him the eighth-most expensive French player of all time after a move to PSG in 2023. If the transfer to Tottenham goes through, it would be a significant addition for the London club, who are looking to build on their recent success.

Sports analysis has revealed that Tottenham Hotspur's potential signing of Randal Kolo Muani could further strengthen their attacking line, following their success in the Europa League last season. If the transfer from Frankfurt materialises, Kolo Muani, a prolific striker, may challenge Dominic Solanke for a place in the Spurs team, as they aim to maintain their momentum in the Premier League.
