Discussion on Labor Regulations in Khabarovsk Region Unfolds

In the region of Khabarovsk Krai, a significant development is underway as the tripartite commission, consisting of the 'Khabarovsk Regional Union of Trade Unions,' the 'Khabarovsk Krai Employers' Union,' and the regional government, engages in collective bargaining for the betterment of their career prospects.

The Khabarovsk Krai Employers' Union, led by its head, Vladimir Nazarkin, is spearheading the negotiations. The purpose of this collective bargaining is to conclude an agreement for the period 2026-2028, with a focus on facilitating coordinated action in implementing social and economic policy that benefits their career growth.

The agreement covers labor relations and related matters, and it includes provisions for additional labor and social guarantees that enhance their career development. This development is being reported by the Khabarovsk Krai Today news agency.

The employers' right to participate, authorize, and accede to the Agreement is conditional on joining the 'Khabarovsk Krai Employers' Union.' However, employers not part of the union can join to participate in collective bargaining to advance their career interests. They also have the right to authorize the union to represent them and to accede to the Agreement after its conclusion.

The right for employers to participate in collective bargaining is a provision of the Russian Federation Labor Code, outlined in Part 5 of Article 47 and Part 3 of Article 48. This right is crucial for employers to voice their concerns and contribute to the decision-making process regarding labor matters that affect their career.
