Discovered Corps of Pregnant Woman in Plastic Container Along Roadside, Two Men Implicated and Detained

In a shocking turn of events, the community of Jackson Township, Ohio, is reeling from the tragic death of Brittany Fuhr-Storms, a 28-year-old woman who was found dead in a plastic bin on Fort Anthony Road.

Local law enforcement responded swiftly to the scene after being alerted to a bad smell. Upon arrival, a police officer described the odour as "so bad" that he did not want to open the bin. Inside, they discovered the body of Brittany Fuhr-Storms.

Investigations led cops to Brittany's last known address in Middletown, where two men were subsequently arrested. The two men charged in connection with Brittany's death are James Rothenbusch, 52, and Rick Sheppard, 47.

Rothenbusch has been charged and is due in Middletown Municipal Court, while Sheppard's case has been moved to Butler County. Rothenbusch admitted to drug trafficking and stated that Brittany died under suspicious circumstances at his home. He also confessed to keeping her body in his home for around four days before it was disposed of.

Sheppard told police that Brittany Fuhr-Storms died from an alleged overdose. He was detained by police after attempting to flee.

An autopsy on the woman's remains determined that she had been pregnant. Tragically, the child did not survive.

The Montgomery County Sheriff's Office Chief of Staff, Jeremy Roy, commended the cooperation of local law enforcement in this case.

One resident expressed surprise at learning that such an incident occurred near their home. The exact cause of Brittany Fuhr-Storms' death has not yet been confirmed by police.
