Discover Jeff Goldblum's hidden talent as a professional jazz pianist!

Jeff Goldblum, best known for his roles in blockbuster films like "Jurassic Park" and "Wicked," has an unexpected passion: jazz piano.

Goldblum's love for jazz music was ignited by his piano teacher, who introduced him to a variety of pieces, including "Alley Cat," "Stairway to the Stars," and "Deep Purple." This interest significantly improved his piano skills, leading him to become a proficient jazz pianist.

Over the past three decades, Goldblum has been playing the piano, and in 2018, he released his first studio album with The Mildred Snitzer Orchestra, titled The Capitol Studios Sessions. The album reached No.1 on the US Jazz Album chart, marking a successful debut.

Since then, Goldblum and his ensemble have released three more albums: "I Shouldn’t Be Telling You This" (2019) and his latest, "Still Blooming" (2025), which features guest artists such as Ariana Grande, Cynthia Erivo, Scarlett Johansson, and Maiya Sykes.

The Mildred Snitzer Orchestra, named after a friend of Goldblum's mother, has performed jazz concerts internationally, playing contemporary arrangements of classic jazz and American Songbook standards. Their live performances are renowned for their world-class ballads and punchy bebop riffs, blending tight piano work with the full jazz band sound.

Goldblum surprised fans with a musical appearance on "The Larry Sanders Show" and celebrated the release of "Wicked" with a surprise set in London. In November 2024, he even surprised commuters with a piano performance at London's St Pancras Station.

Upcoming performances with The Mildred Snitzer Orchestra include concerts in September 2025 at venues such as Sarofim Hall in Houston and Majestic Theatre in San Antonio.

Thus, Jeff Goldblum's jazz piano career is distinguished by his recordings with The Mildred Snitzer Orchestra, live performances with the band around the world, and his role as a contemporary jazz interpreter and bandleader.
