Director of Tomsky has appeared in the subsequent installment of the "Ronin" series
In the heart of Siberia, the second season of the popular series 'Ronin' is set to premiere on TV-3 on October 6 at 6:00 PM. This season, the cast includes a familiar face to Tomsk residents - Vitaly Doronkin, best known for directing the film 'Combat System' and his work as a professional screenwriter.
Vitaly Doronkin, who enjoys acting, will be portraying the character of Timofey Milekhin, a former comrade-in-arms of the main character, Ivan Doronin. The team on the set of 'Ronin' was very professional and friendly, making Doronkin feel right at home.
Meanwhile, the life of the real-life Timofey Milekhin, a former soldier, has taken a different turn. Struggling with a gambling addiction, Milekhin has found himself in debt. His problems are more complex than they initially seemed, and he is now grappling to maintain his honor and conscience.
Joining Doronkin and Milekhin on the set of 'Ronin' are several other familiar faces from Tomsk. Ekaterina Druzhkova, an actress at the Tomsk Drama Theater for five years, and Anastasia Chevers, a former actress at the Tomsk TYUZ, both make appearances in the new season. Sergey Safronov, who served in Tomsk's 'Version', also joins the cast.
The actress who worked for five years at the Tomsk Drama Theater and appears in the second season of 'Ronin' is Alexandra Billings. Billings' character is not named Timofey Milekhin, but her role in the series is yet to be revealed.
Notably, 'Combat System', directed by Vitaly Doronkin, was nominated for 'Best Directorial Debut' among the top 7 films in the country. The new season of 'Ronin' was filmed in the Krasnoyarsk region because it is set in Siberia, providing a fitting backdrop for the series.
As the premiere of the second season of 'Ronin' approaches, the anticipation builds for the storylines and performances that await viewers. The struggles of Timofey Milekhin, both on and off the screen, serve as a poignant reminder of the complexities of life and the power of art to reflect and engage with these complexities.
