Diplomatic initiatives are being pursued to resolve the internal dispute within Your Party, with party members encouraging MPs to transfer control of the movement to the general public.

In a series of recent developments, the left-wing political venture spearheaded by Jeremy Corbyn and Zarah Sultana has found itself divided, with disagreements arising over a new membership portal.

The row over the legitimacy of the membership portal is the latest in a series of disagreements between Ms Sultana and Mr Corbyn, concerning the direction of the party. This dispute has led to the movement splitting into two (or possibly three) factions.

Mr Corbyn, who was previously a person of significant control of Your Party UK Ltd, is no longer in that position, as other Independent MPs, including Ayoub Khan, Adnan Hussain, Iqbal Mohammed, and Shockat Adam, have become directors. However, there is no publicly available information on the names of persons who took over the role of independent directors at Your Party UK Ltd after Mr Corbyn left.

Meanwhile, Ms Sultana has launched a membership portal for the party, which she insists is a safe, secure, and legitimate means of becoming a member. She has expressed support for an open letter from Our Party, which she describes as what she's 'been fighting for from the start.' According to Our Party, over 800,000 people have shown faith in the new political venture.

However, Mr Corbyn has described an invite sent out on Thursday morning to supporters of the political outfit, inviting them to officially sign up and give it financial backing, as an 'unauthorised email.' He advises supporters to immediately cancel any direct debits and warns people not to sign up via the link. The party has reported itself to the UK's data protection watchdog over the morning email, claiming a false membership system has been unilaterally launched. Data has been collected and payments taken, and the matter has been flagged with the Information Commissioner's Office.

A group of left-wing activists called Our Party has urged the six MPs to step aside and hand the founding of the new party over to its members. They have also called for the appointment of an independent handover committee to establish a membership system and oversee the election of a founding stewards committee.

There have also been reports of clashes between Ms Sultana and Mr Hussain over their different views on trans rights. Additionally, Ms Sultana claimed on Thursday she had been subjected to a 'sexist boys' club' amid the dispute over the new membership system.

Diplomatic efforts are underway to settle the row within the political venture, with sources close to Corbyn and Sultana seeking to mediate behind the scenes. The PA news agency reports that these efforts are ongoing.

These developments come after Ms Sultana announced earlier this year that she would be setting up the new left-wing political party with Mr Corbyn. The party has reported over 750,000 supporters since its launch earlier this year.

As the situation continues to unfold, it remains to be seen how these disagreements will affect the future of the left-wing political venture.
