New Dinosaur Experience World Moves into Former Sea Life Building - DinoXperience Brings Prehistoric Adventure to Königswinter in 2026

A new dinosaur-themed attraction, DinoXperience, is coming to Königswinter in 2026. It will occupy the former Sea Life Aquarium building, which shut down at the end of 2022. The project is spearheaded by Edutain AG, a company with extensive experience in large-scale interactive exhibits.

The attraction will provide visitors with an immersive journey through time, merging fictional archaeology with futuristic research. Guests can anticipate encounters with lifelike prehistoric dinosaurs and a narrative linked to the local legend of Dragon’s Rock (Drachenfels). The experience aims to transport people back 66 million years.

The opening of DinoXperience signals a new era for the site following the aquarium's closure. The attraction will blend education, entertainment, and local folklore. Organisers plan to unveil the complete experience to the public in 2026.
