Diehl-Defence to create up to 2,000 new jobs - Diehl Defence to Add 2,000 Jobs by 2030 Amid Soaring Military Demand
Diehl Defence has announced plans to create up to 2,000 new jobs by 2030. The expansion comes as the company sees soaring demand for military equipment, particularly its air defence systems. Last year, the Diehl Group’s net profit more than doubled, reaching around €343.5 million.
The defence division has become a major growth engine for the Diehl Group. Its revenue jumped by 60% to roughly €1.8 billion in the last fiscal year. Overall, the group’s defence-related sales climbed by 22.3%, hitting nearly €4.7 billion.
The new positions will support increased output of military hardware, driven by global demand. With revenue and profits rising sharply, Diehl Defence is positioning itself for long-term growth in the defence sector. The expansion also strengthens its presence in southern Germany, particularly in Baden-Württemberg and Bavaria.
