The Balcony Incident: Witness Recounts Diddy's Alleged Threat Over the Railing

Diddy allegedly suspended me from a balcony.

In the ongoing court case against Sean "Diddy" Combs, a former buddy of Cassie Ventura's has testified about a shocking balcony altercation. The rapper, as the witness declared, held her over a balcony railing and threatened her with death. The event still haunts the 33-year-old designer, triggering recurring nightmares.

Appearing in court in New York, Bryana Bongolan detailed the dramatic event that transpired on the 17th floor of an apartment building. According to consistent US media reports, Combs grabbed her, hoisted her over the balcony railing, and kept her suspended there for approximately 15 seconds. He yelled that she knew what she'd done, Bongolan testified. The designer explained that she couldn't pinpoint what set him off. She was terrified of plummeting.

Bongolan alleges the incident unfolded in Ventura's apartment in 2016. Combs allegedly hurled her against outdoor furniture on the balcony before Ventura intervened to cease the rapper's assault. She suffered injuries and continues to suffer from nightmares, Bongolan stated. Out of fear of Combs, she didn't report the matter to the police at the time, she said.

Evidence supporting Bongolan's claims includes photographs with timestamp metrics consistent with the date of the alleged episode. She claimed she witnessed signs of Combs' alleged dishonorable conduct towards Ventura throughout their friendship. She observed the singer with a black eye on FaceTime and noticed Combs frequently banging on Ventura's door at night, according to Bongolan.

The balcony incident reportedly occurred following an unexpected wake-up call by Combs. Bongolan hid Ventura in the bathroom and stepped out onto the balcony. Combs entered the apartment and lifted her over the balcony railing, the witness stated.

Bongolan testified about another alleged episode at a photo shoot in California in 2015, when she accompanied Ventura. Combs allegedly approached her and threatened, "I'm the devil, and I could kill you." She also confirmed that she and her companion frequently consumed medications like cocaine, ketamine, and marijuana. Despite their drug problem, she emphasized in court that she was clean at the moment.

Last year, Bongolan filed a lawsuit against the rapper, seeking damages in the millions. The court is currently managing the civil lawsuit. According to the complaint, Bongolan attempted to regain her footing on the balcony, but Combs, who outweighed and overpowered her, raised her "higher and higher over the balcony of Ventura's apartment on the 17th floor," with only Combs' grip preventing her from plunging to her death. Combs denied these allegations through his legal team at the time.

Notably, Ventura had already testified in the trial, accusing Combs of years of severe abuse. The prosecution seeks to paint Combs as a violent and controlling individual who created a systematic structure of psychological manipulation and intimidation. Speaking about the incident in her apartment with Bryana Bongolan, Ventura stated, "I witnessed him pull her back over the balcony railing and then throw her onto the garden furniture."

Combs is currently charged with sex trafficking, organized crime, and other criminal charges. He has pleaded not guilty to these allegations. If convicted, he faces a lengthy prison sentence. The trial is expected to continue for several more weeks.
