Diane Buswell, expecting mother, exits Strictly rehearsals after an extended studio session of over 10 hours, despite inner-circle worries about her health due to a demanding schedule.

Dianne Buswell, a professional dancer on Strictly Come Dancing, made headlines this week with her pregnancy announcement. The expectant mother, who is due in 2026, shared the news on her Instagram, accompanied by a heartwarming video set to Elton John's Tiny Dancer.

Buswell's partner in the current season of Strictly Come Dancing is Chris McCausland. The pair has been working diligently, with Buswell's rehearsals reportedly lasting up to 11-and-a-half hours on Thursday evening. However, insiders have disputed claims of gruelling 10-hour rehearsals, stating that the sessions are tailored to Buswell's pace and that of her partner, with duty of care and welfare measures in place, including regular breaks and rest/warm-up periods.

Buswell was seen departing the studio on Thursday evening with her friend and fellow dancer, Vito Coppola. Coppola, dressed in black T-shirt, grey shorts, white sport socks, and Adidas trainers, kept things casual, while Buswell opted for a grey corduroy button-up shirt layered over a black satin shirt and a white T-shirt, black jogging bottoms, and comfy off-white trainers.

Meanwhile, other Strictly Come Dancing stars were quick to offer their congratulations. Buswell and her boyfriend Joe Sugg, a contestant on the show in 2018, were flooded with well-wishes from friends and fans, including their fellow professionals Jowita Przystal and Pete Wicks. Przystal kept it casual in a black knit jumper and a black denim jacket with exposed stitching, while Wicks donned a stylish mustard yellow suede bomber jacket.

Buswell and Sugg are expecting a baby boy, and they are taking the pregnancy one step at a time. Buswell has emphasised the importance of regular breaks and taking things at her own pace, becoming the first ever Strictly professional to compete on the show while pregnant.

The new series of Strictly Come Dancing will run up until the week before Christmas this year, and fans are eager to see how Buswell and McCausland fare on the dance floor. With Buswell's determination and the support of her colleagues, it's sure to be an unforgettable season.
