Diablo 4's Giant Chicken Boss Returns for April Fool's Day Chaos

Blizzard has brought back a giant chicken boss in Diablo 4 for April Fool's Day. Named Chik'han, The Fowl Beast, this temporary world boss has appeared three times before—first in October 2023, then in February 2024, and most recently in August 2025. Unlike typical events, this one rewards players with quirky, chicken-themed items instead of standard crafting materials or legendaries.

Chik'han drops unique loot tied to its poultry theme. Players can collect items like the Cluckonomicon staff and the Eggcecutioner scythe. One standout reward is a weapon that boosts damage specifically against chickens.

The *Cluckonomicon* staff grants a buff called *Henlightenment*, activated by lifting loose stones scattered across the game world. Defeating the boss also unlocks the achievement *April Fowl's Day 2026*, hinting that the event will return in future years. Some players joke that Chik'han is a tougher challenge than the game's main villains, the Prime Evils. Its recurring appearances and unpredictable attacks make it a memorable, if slightly absurd, opponent.

The event runs for a limited time, offering a mix of humour and rare rewards. Players hunting for the Cluckonomicon or the Eggcecutioner will need to track down and defeat Chik'han before it disappears. The achievement and themed loot suggest Blizzard plans to keep this feathered foe around for future April Fool's celebrations.
