DFB's approval for BVB over Wolfsburg is overturned!

Borussia Dortmund (BVB) is gearing up for a crucial encounter against Wolfsburg on Sunday evening, September 21, at 7:30 PM, at Signal Iduna Park. The objective for BVB in this match is to secure a victory, as both teams are more focused on securing the three points.

The DFB (German Football Association) has tasked Daniel Siebert, a top and experienced German referee, with overseeing the match. Siebert, aged 41, hails from Berlin and has led numerous games in European competitions, including the World Cup in Qatar.

Last season, Siebert officiated three of Dortmund's matches. One of these was their bitter cup exit in Wolfsburg. The other two games resulted in a 1:2 defeat against VfB Stuttgart on the 21st matchday and a narrow 3:2 home win against Borussia Mönchengladbach.

The BVB team is looking for redemption after a frustrating 4-4 draw against Juventus Turin. All eyes will once again be on Siebert in the upcoming match. He will be assisted by Jan Seidel and Rafael Foltyn, while Harm Osmers will serve as the fourth official.

Benjamin Cortus and Arne Aarnik will be seated in the infamous Cologne cellar for the BVB - Wolfsburg game. Harm Osmers will also be present as the fourth official for the match.

The BVB - Wolfsburg game marks the fourth Bundesliga matchday. It promises to be an exciting encounter, with both teams eager to start their league campaign on a high note. Let's hope for an enthralling contest at Signal Iduna Park!
